Reform & Revolution is coming in hot for the 2026 YDSA Convention! Through building a partyist Y/DSA, a strong campaigning approach with united front politics, and constructing strong pipelines to DSA, we seek to build YDSA into the youth wing of the socialist party the working class deserves. To do so, we are running two candidates for the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) and want to inform you all about our work!

Our NCC Candidates

• Kaeden Boudreaux (they/them) UT San Antonio YDSA
  • Kaeden B served as UTSA YDSA's co-chair, leading the chapter to grow from 15 to 54 members, win expanded menstrual products across campus, distribute 4,000 doses of Plan B, and gather 4,000 signatures on our petition for Bodily Autonomy and Against ICE. They organized a 3 week, 3 meals per day strike kitchen for 30 workers in their chapter. As one of the co-chairs of YDSA's Growth and Development Committee, Kaeden's trained 300+ new organizers on how to start new chapters and organize while strengthening national programming on growth, leadership development, and democracy.
• Tomas Jimenez (he/him) Florida International University YDSA
  • Tomas J served as FIU YDSA's Secretary and later co-chair, helping lead the chapter to win free Plan B on campus and running FIU's Sanctuary Campus Campaign. As Electoral Co-Chair in Miami DSA, they’re leading and organizing on the Oliver Larkin campaign, resulting in Miami DSA knocking over 3,000 doors in a month and a half. On the Strategic Campaign Committee, Tomas organized 5 chapters into cohorts and stepped up to chair the committee in Feb 26.

• A Targeted National Campaign that builds Student Worker Organizing through R9: For a Strategic Sanctuary Campus Campaign on All Fronts, R9-A01: From Campaigns to Unions, and R25-A01: For A Committee Timeline and National Cohorts
• For A Convention of All Chapters through R14-A01, doubling the scholarship budget and make our democracy more accessible
• Internationalism: Cross-Border Labor Organizing through R4-A01: For Specific International Asks for Strategic Strike Action

  • Our resolutions and amendments will ensure we have a strong campaigning approach that's battle-tested and works, leads to diverse leadership development across chapters, gets people to YDSA Convention, and give our international work some real teeth. By passing these resolutions, we have the mandate to get to work.

  • Our caucus would love to meet with your chapter to learn about what experiences you've had over the past year(s) and discuss our proposals. Real feedback like this is critical to a vibrant Marxist analysis. We can also help connect you to national resources and talk shop!
